What is the new Christopher Nolan new film about?

Details about the plot and logline remain under wraps for now. Christopher Nolan’s previous film, Oppenheimer, was released in the summer of 2023 and garnered widespread acclaim, including Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director. Starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, and Robert Downey Jr., the film explored the life of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his central role in the Manhattan Project, which led to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

According to Deadline, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Lupita Nyong’o have all signed on to the upcoming film. Hathaway is no stranger to Nolan’s work, having previously appeared in The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar (2014). For Zendaya and Holland, however, this will mark their first collaboration with the renowned director.

Filming is set to begin in early 2025, with the movie already scheduled for an IMAX release on July 17, 2025.
