Short and to the point: Marvel/Disney have put out a 17-second clip to tease the release of the first official Iron Man 3 trailer this Tuesday. The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it snippet features a sauntering Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), a seemingly captured Pepper Potts ( Gwyneth Paltrow), and a title referencing the long-believed plot point of the movie “Enter The Mandarin!”
Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3, 2013 — which is still quite a bit away! Since you have awhile to wait, may we suggest not blowing all your excitement, judgment, and energy on this one little clip? There’s sure to be many more where this came from. Many. Like, probably a billion. All in due time, kids. This is what they call a slow build towards a summer blockbuster.
