Despite the rather lackluster reception of Suicide Squad, DC Comics is determined to press forward with their upcoming films slate of films. Recently Ben Affleck who plays Batman in the DC franchise films teased fans with some live-action footage of the villain Slade Joseph Wilson aka Deathstroke. Fans have speculated that Deathstroke may make his first appearance in next year’s Justice League film and possibly be the main villain in a standalone Batman feature.

Though there has been no confirmation on who will be stepping into Deathstroke’s shoes, though many fans have speculated that True Blood star Joe Manganiello might be embodying the manipulative assassin.
