Alicia Silverstone‘s representative confirmed to People that the actress and her husband, Christopher Jarecki, welcomed a son on Thursday. The baby’s name is Bear Blu, and weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces upon arrival. The rep stated, “Mom and Dad are completely in love with their beautiful baby boy,” who is the first child for both Silverstone and Jarecki. Though rather new to the world, Bear has already shrouded himself in wool and leg warmers and an arctic scruff to keep him warm against the elements he’s facing as he guides unruly high school juniors up and down Mt. Katahdin in Maine and helps them write letters to their parents, apologizing for feeding putty to the dog and thanking them for putting indoor plumbing in their houses.
