Perrie Edwards all smiles during first post-split interview

British pop star PERRIE EDWARDS is smiling through her shock split from former ONE DIRECTION pin-up ZAYN MALIK, insisting she’s “good” following the break-up.
News Malik had broken off his engagement to the Little Mix singer spread on Monday (03Aug15), prompting gossip sites to run with source-led stories suggesting Edwards was “devastated”, but it appeared she is doing just fine as she sat down for her first interview since the story broke.
The 22-year-old joined bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall for an E! News chat in Los Angeles on Tuesday (04Aug15), and was all smiles.
Asked about her state of mind following the break-up, she said, “I’m good, thank you.”
Edwards and Malik, also 22, became engaged in August, 2013, a year after they started dating.
The Little Mix star and her bandmates are in Los Angeles preparing for an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards on 16 August (15).
