CNN Newsman Dies

CNN and ABC news vet Judd Rose died Saturday at his New York home, losing a battle to a brain tumor. He was 45. Rose was familiar to viewers of CNN’s newsmag, “NewsStand,” which he co-anchored.

He joined CNN in 1998, following 16-year career with ABC. At ABC, Rose covered the Gulf War from Saudi Arabia and served as a correspondent on “PrimeTime Live.” All told, he racked up four Emmys during his tenure.

Survivors include his wife and their twin children.
