Frock ‘n’ Roll, a benefit fashion show in Barcelona, was hardly the gala affair it expected to be. The show, an event to benefit Nelson Mandela’s Children Fund, featured performances by U2’s Bono, Wycleaf Jean and a preview of designer Alexander McQueen’s new collection. But only 2,000 tickets were sold, mostly due to Mick Jagger‘s and Macy Gray’s last-minute absence, and organizers had to pull in people off the street to fill the Palau St. Jordi auditorium, reports the New York Post‘s Page Six.com. Additionally, Alexander McQueen and Kate Moss reportedly got into a shoving match, resulting in the waif-like model storming off the catwalk. A representative of the event was sanguine: “These things happen.”
