Jennifer Lopez‘s publicist Alan Nierob is denying rumors that the singer/actress may be tying the knot sometime soon with boyfriend Cris Judd.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Lopez reportedly sent out invitations for an engagement dinner party at a posh Melrose Avenue restaurant in Los Angeles for Thursday, Aug. 18.
The couple is apparently planning a short engagement period, with plans of a fall wedding in the works, ET reported.
Nierob, however, told Hollywood.com that none of this is true.
Lopez met Judd, a dancer/choreographer, while working on her “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” video last year.
In June, Lopez said, “I feel I’ve found my soul mate in Cris,” to London’s News of the World. At the time, she would not confirm whether or not they were engaged.
This would not be the first trip down the aisle for Lopez should she marry Judd. She was briefly married to Ojani Noa before she became involved with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in 1999. Lopez and Combs ended their relationship on Valentine’s Day.
Judd and Combs reportedly met at the Vanity Fair Oscar party this year and shook hands like gentlemen.
