A spokeswoman for Mariah Carey said Tuesday that the pop singer was getting her much needed rest, Reuters reports. Carey, 31, has cancelled all public appearances, including her headline role at MTV’s 20th anniversary bash. Recently, Carey filmed two movies, Wise Girls and Glitter, for which she recorded and produced the soundtrack. The singer checked herself into an undisclosed New York-area hospital on July 25 suffering from extreme exhaustion.
