Stop the presses!
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock have decided to get married.
The V.I.P. star said “yes” to bad-boy singer Kid Rock when he proposed Thursday night in Las Vegas, Anderson‘s publicist Marleah Leslie told the Associated Press. No wedding date has been set.
Leslie added, “She’s elated.” Well, of course she is.
The 34-year-old actress and the 31-year-old rap-rocker began dating in April 2001 when they met backstage at VH1’s diva salute to Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
This will be the second marriage for Anderson, who notorious first marriage to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee ended in a bitter divorce, with the two now in a nasty custody battle over their two young sons, Brandon and Dylan. Anderson has also claimed she contracted hepatitis C from sharing a tattoo needle with Lee and is currently undergoing treatment. The drummer denies he has the disease.
It will be the first marriage for Rock (lucky him), whose real name is Bob Ritchie. He does, however, have a young son he raises with his sister in northern Michigan.
