British supermodel Kate Moss was injured in a car crash Thursday in South Essex and was flown by air ambulance to nearby Basildon General Hospital, Reuters reports.
The model was riding in a Range Rover driven by a male friend when the accident occurred. The vehicle reportedly collided with a car that was traveling in the same direction on the A13 near Orsett.
Moss is being treated for a shoulder injury.
According to police, the driver of Moss‘ car and the elderly couple in the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital, suffering from minor injuries and bruising.
Moss was rushed to the hospital last year after failing to complete an antibiotic course for a kidney infection.
In 1998 the party-going model was also admitted to London’s Priory Clinic which has treated many celebrities for alcohol and drug problems.
Moss‘ career has spanned over a decade. She is currently dating Dazed & Confused magazine editor Jefferson Hack.
