The short answer to this question is “yes.” James Cameron’s iconic film will have a sequel, and it’s coming in December. The new film follows Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) as he lives with his wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and their family. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake and his family will have to fight against the humans.

Avatar 2 hits theaters on Friday, December 16. As of right now, tickets are not on sale, but fans are anxiously waiting to see whether tickets will come soon. On social media and reddit, we seen users hypothesize when tickets will finally be open to the general public.
At the end of October, a reddit user shared “AList discord says it’s going on sale 11/21 no time yet but once it’s available it will be posted.” There’s no confirmation if this news is correct, but we’ll MAKE SURE to tell you when they do.
