Rachel Zegler is heading to Broadway for a special night of music and dancing. The award-winning performer has been announced as the host of the next dance-along performance of Buena Vista Social Club, giving theatergoers an opportunity to become part of the celebration from their seats.
The special performance is scheduled for September 29 at 7 p.m. During the event, audience members will be encouraged to dance along with the show’s music while watching the Broadway production.
Rachel Zegler Joins a Star-Studded Tradition
Rachel Zegler is the latest high-profile performer to take part in Buena Vista Social Club‘s dance-along series. Previous events have featured Broadway and Hollywood stars including Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Leguizamo and Lupita Nyong’o.
Zegler shared her excitement about the upcoming event, highlighting her personal connection to the production and encouraging fans to join her for the September performance.
The appearance adds another exciting Broadway moment to an already impressive year for Zegler. She first gained widespread attention after being cast as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story. She subsequently made her Broadway debut in the 2024 revival of Romeo + Juliet before earning an Olivier Award for her performance as Eva Perón in the West End revival of Evita.
Zegler is also expected to return to Broadway as Eva Perón when Evita transfers to New York.
