Since Nick Carter announced that he was joining Dancing With the Stars this season, Backstreet Boys fans around the world have been waiting for him to pay homage to the iconic boy band that helped define music in the ’90s. On last night’s episode entitled, “My Most Memorable Year”, Carter delivered. He and his dance partner Sharna Burgess rocked out to the iconic BSB’s song “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” Nick Carter’s BSB band mate, AJ McLean even stopped by rehearsals to help out with the choreography. It was certainly worth the wait. The final routine was sexy, fluid and a whole lot of fun. Carter and Burgess earned a 27 out of 30 for the routine.
Still, everything wasn’t all fun and games on DWTS last night. Prior to his performance, Nick Carter reflected back on his most memorable year, which he said was 1992, the year that he met his band mates. Coming from a dysfunctional household, Carter praised his time with BSB for showing him an alternative path. It was super cute when AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson all chimed in praising Carter for all of his hard work and dedication.

Nick Carter wasn’t the only Dancing With the Stars contestant to have a super emotional night. Bindi Irwin got a perfect score for her emotional dance that honored her late father, Steve Irwin who passed away in 2006.
