After a heartbreaking end to Season 4, Dexter returns, realizing that his secret life of a serial killer finally caught up with him. The one person who actually understood his brain — although, she didn’t actually know he was a serial killer — is gone. Trinity murdered Rita. Now Dexter must deal with the mess, knowing that Rita’s death was his fault. But, he’s so over overcome with shock that he doesn’t know how to handle it. Maybe, Dexter is human after all. Or maybe, guilt can be a killer — an even worse one than Dexter.
