So if you’ve been on the internet in the last few days, you’ve probably heard that Taylor Swift has a new album coming out. Well, it’s finally here, and after 2 long years of waiting for new music from this country-turned-pop Goddess, we’re all just a little more than excited.

1989 is Taylor’s newest album and we think it speaks volumes on her as an artist, as well as a person. Because, that’s exactly what Taylor is. It’s easy to forget that, because she’s also extremely famous, rich, talented, and all-around wonderful. But she is a person, with feelings and experiences that everyone can relate to, even if we’re nothing like each other or come from very different places.
After listening to the entire album – hey it came out last night, so it’s not weird – we’ve gotta say it’s our favorite yet and we’re so excited about it. But it made us really consider Taylor, again as a person, and as the role model, idol, persona that comes from being Taylor Swift. It made us love her all over again.
1. For someone so famous, she’s extremely open about her love life and her own private thoughts and feelings:

2. She might be super freaking famous, but she still dances like a mom:
And if that doesn’t make you love her (and feel better about your own dancing), then I don’t know what will.

4. Despite all of her success, Taylor still gets extremely nervous when releasing new music:

And when you hear that, things really do make so much sense. You might not change immediately, but you understand things so much better, thanks to Taylor advice.

7. She’s not afraid to write about her feelings, no matter how devastating they might be:
8. For as open and honest as she is, sometimes Taylor doesn’t need to speak at all to show her emotions:
We give credit where credit is due, that’s the perfect amount of shade.

Take it from someone who has seen her 3 different times, in 2 different arenas and 1 stadium, during 3 different points in her career.

She’s a little bit like all of us.
