The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon? It’s looking like a strong possibility. Word around the Late Night watercooler is NBC is looking to move Fallon into a better time slot: Jay Leno‘s!
Despite the long-time host’s great ratings, the network is hoping to connect more with the 18-49 demographic — something ABC is having success with after moving late night host, Jimmy Kimmel to an earlier slot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the move could happen as early as summer of 2014, as both Leno and CBS’ David Letterman are under contract until that time.
All should be revealed in May during the TV upfronts. Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn into a nasty war of the words. Can anyone say Conan O’Brien?
