American Horror StoryWednesday, Nov. 30

Top Tier

Christmas in Rockefeller Center

8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC

The Holiday tradition will see its 79th iteration with a little help from hosts Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie, as well as performances from Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé, Cee Lo Green, Carole King, Katharine McPhee, Big Time Rush and Javier Colon. Apparently, the new "All I Want For Christmas Is You" music video featuring both Bieber and Mariah Carey will also make an appearance, though I'm still partial to the original - it's a classic.

The X-Factor

8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox

"The Top 7 Perform"

It's getting closer to the finale over at The X-Factor, with less than a month to go, it's time for folks to start going home. And with only 7 contestants left, things are getting a bit tense.

American Horror Story

10 p.m. ET/PT on FX

"Spooky Little Girl"

Mena Suvari guest stars as The Black Dahlia, a girl who was famously murdered in 1940s Hollywood. She'll pay a visit to the house while Constance deals with more of Tate's bad behavior. Invoking old Hollywood and murder in the same story never hurts.

Alternates

I Hate My Teenage Daughter

9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox

"Pilot"

The new Jamie Pressley multi-camera sitcom premieres tonight, so tune in if you're curious - though don't come crying to us when you're disappointed with what you see.

The Soup

10 p.m. ET/PT on E!

There's nothing special here except that E! has moved its pop culture slam book to midweek! Joel McHale will now be the underrated king of midweek...at least until Community hits that dreaded hiatus.

Grammy Nominations Concert Live

10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS

Music, awards for music, all in a tiny late(ish) night package. It's easy, mindless fun.
