28 Years Later unfolds in a Britain still grappling with the aftermath of the Rage virus. Survivors have established a fortified community on Lindisfarne Island, connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. The story centers on Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his son Spike (Alfie Williams), who embark on a perilous journey into the mainland to find a doctor for Spike’s ailing mother, Isla (Jodie Comer). Their quest leads them through a landscape teeming with evolved infected and mutated survivors, highlighting the persistent horrors of this dystopian world.
