Showtime’s new historical drama, The Borgias, hits television this Sunday, but what’s it all about? It looks very history-y and it has Jeremy Irons in it, so you know I’ll be watching, but who are the Borgias (pronounced Bohr-jhias) and why are they so intriguing? Well, thanks to this little feature we can see that they are not only the original crime family as their tagline boasts, but apparently their story closely resembles the plot of The Godfather. Okay, you’ve got my attention.
