MTV “not responsible” for injuries

Despite several apparent “copycat” accidents spawned by MTV’s shock show Jackass, the network claims it’s not responsible for careless fans’ injuries. Taking heat for a recent Kentucky boy’s broken leg-reportedly suffered during a Jackass-inspired accident-MTV tells The Associated Press that the incident is “incredibly upsetting.” MTV said it is “taking this very seriously,” but has not decided to pull the show or alter its content. Jackass airs 10 p.m. Sundays.
