Okay, so we already know American Horror Story‘s sixth season is going to be creepy as all get out. It always, always is (minus Coven, witches don’t really do it for us as far as creepy goes). This year the stakes are even higher if they want to top Hotel. Remember that guy who opened the first episode of season five with a literal drill-bit dildo? How do you even come up with that stuff?
From these new AHS promos, it looks like season six will push a whole different set of boundaries. FX just released six new videos that show a whole world of weird. It gets us a little closer to discovering the theme, which we’re gonna call right now — AHS: Farmhouse. All signs are pointing to a weird, Midwestern horror vibe akin to The Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Children of the Corn.
Lets take a look at the promos.
1. “Sunset Stroll”

There’s a whole The Hills Have Eyes thing going on here, but also, what’s with the glowing eyes? Could AHS finally be bringing in aliens? It looks like it.
2. “What’s Cooking?”

Based on the title and the screams we hear in the promo, we’re guess what’s cooking is human flesh. The chainsaw is perfectly terrifying, and we can only suspect that the creepy family in the first promo feed on humans. Are they cannibals? We really think there’s going to be some stomach-turning cannibal story line.
3. “Descent”
This appears to be a creepy farmhouse cellar. Is this where the cannibal family locks away their victims? Is this literally a human slaughter house? Is AHS making a statement on the treatment of animals in the meat and dairy industry? We can’t wait to find out.
4. “Lullaby”

What’s with this baby? As we said before, fans are thinking it’s the surviving Harmon baby from season one, but only time will tell. It’s definitely being taught to be violent from a young age — look at that mobile. Are those meat hooks? Seriously, the cannibal vibes are seeping through every single bit of these teasers.
5. “Milli Crossing”

Really, we aren’t sure what to make of this one, but it’s pretty gross. All those little legs make our stomachs turn.
6. “Post-Op”
This one is a major curve-ball. We’re getting crazy AHS: Asylum vibes from it. There’s obviously insane stuff going on in this farmhouse cellar (if that’s where this takes place) but why surgery? What is wrong with this person’s hands?
