There’s almost nothing that Olivia Munn can’t do. As TV personality, model, actress, author and animal rights activist, the girl is so busy she’d make the President look lazy. Still, she’s finding time to work on major productions across the entertainment spectrum – from appearing in two films this year (Date Night, Iron Man 2) to starring in NBC’s new midseason comedy Perfect Couples. You can now add the peacock’s hit spy series Chuck to her ever-expanding resume, as Entertainment Weekly reports that the stunner will guest star on the McG/Josh Schwartz-produced action-comedy this fall.
Michael Ausiello broke the news that Munn would play an impossibly cool, smart, and pretty CIA agent who intimidates and schools Chuck and Morgan in the season 4 premiere (which hits the airwaves on Sept. 20) today. Also of note: that will be the same episode that Expendables star Dolph Lundgren will appear on the program, which should make for a particularly exciting and hopefully explosive premiere.
In my humble opinion, the more Munn, the more fun! She’s got everything that a young actress should have: good looks, great personality and the will to do almost anything that she’s tasked with doing. Her inclusion in Chuck is just another notch on the program’s belt; the show has wrangled a wealth of entertaining special guest stars in it’s three year run, from Brandon Routh to Scott Bakula to Jordana Brewster and Bruce Boxleiner.
Chuck stars Zachary Levi as a twenty-something computer geek who gets infused with critical government secrets and winds up a major commodity and liability to national security. Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin co-star.
