TV STUFF: ‘90210’ Wedding Bells

We know. You haven’t watched since college. You haven’t cared since high school. But come on. This is important: “Beverly Hills, 90210” star-crossed lovebirds Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) and David Silver (Brian Austin Green) will wed on the series finale, it has been reported. The two-hour special is scheduled to air May 17 on Fox.

Past cast members returning for the TV-land nuptials include Jason Priestley, Gabrielle Carteris and the formerly Amber-fied Tiffani Thiessen. (Note the absence of exiled alum Shannen Doherty.)

“90210” is ending a 10-year run. Donna and David were an item for more than half that time.

WHO WANTS TO BE A PIONEER? Sunday’s edition of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” featured the hit ABC game show’s first black contestant — some four months after the program started airing virtually every freakin’ night of the week. Steven Maurice Clark told reporters he felt the pressure when sitting in the hot seat. “I wanted to do well,” Clark said. “Nobody says, ‘All white guys are stupid,’ when white contestants have missed easy questions … [but] the reality was my performance was going to be measure.” Clark won $32,000 after missing a $250,000 question.

COOKED: Flamboyant TV chef Ainsley Harriott is out of his stateside gig after one season. Daily Variety says staffers were informed Monday that the chatty British cooking guru’s self-titled daytime talk show would not be back for a second season.

JOBSOMETHING: Peter Horton (“thirtysomething”) is in talks to co-star as Geena Davis‘ TV husband in Davis’ still-untitled comeback vehicle for ABC, The Hollywood Reporter says.
