While most Vampire Diaries shippers are probably more concerned with the pressing matter at hand — the Salvatore love triangle that just enjoyed a solar flare of a boost thanks to Damon and Elena’s motel makeout — as Yoda would say, There is another.
Vampire Barbie has been slowly climbing the romantic ranks throughout Season 3. Dating Klaus’ sired hybrid vampire-werewolf never hurts, but when Klaus started to go all starry-eyed over the blushing blonde, TVD fans’ thirst for romance was heightened. If we had fangs, they’d be popping out right about now.
In the last episode, Tyler and Caroline’s happy reunion was dashed as soon as he found Klaus’ sketch, which Caroline suspiciously kept even though she swears Klaus disgusts her. And from the looks of this sexually charged dance, things are about to get deliciously complicated during Thursday’s Decades Dance episode. We could be headed for a real Original hybrid battle against his sired hybrid. And with that, the prospect of the season finale just got a whole lot more interesting.
