Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and girlfriend Penelope Cruz are reportedly planning a secret wedding early in the New Year.
Arrangements are so far advanced that Cruz, 27, has even started organizing her bachelorette party, The Sun reports.
According to the paper, aides of the actress are scouting locations in Beverly Hills for the ideal venue and are looking at dates immediately after Christmas Day.
Cruz‘s representatives have reportedly contacted a number of posh restaurants asking if they have private rooms to hold a party of around 40 people. She told her aides to find somewhere that has a private room at the back so people can go in and out without being seen and where they won’t be disturbed.
Cruz and Cruise, who split from Nicole Kidman, his wife of 10 years, earlier this year, met last year on the set of their new psychological thriller Vanilla Sky and began dating publicly in July.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Cruise insisted the romance between him and Cruz blossomed after, not during, the filming of the movie.
The pair attended the Vanilla Sky premiere in Kidman‘s hometown of Sydney, Australia, this week. Local radio programs devoted big blocks of time to callers criticizing the star for divorcing Kidman and starting a new relationship with Cruz.
Cruise and Kidman are said to be on friendly terms, however, and Cruise reportedly invited his ex-wife to the premiere. She turned down the invitation.
