Ad logos to appear on CNN News

CNN is likely to reignite the debate over where to draw the line between news and advertising when it relaunches its Headline News channel on Monday with advertisers’ logos appearing on screen during newscasts. Thursday’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the logo positions will be available to major advertisers buying big packages of commercial time. The first company to sign up for the logo deal, the newspaper said, is Bank of America.
