Who Wants to be a Millionaire could produce a new syndicated version. A syndicated version developed by Buena Vista Television has been in the works since the show first hit big on ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “I would not be surprised if the marketplace is being explored right now for a syndicated version of the show,” Millionaire executive producer Michael Davies said. “It has always been the intention that when the number of episodes on the network dropped, we would explore the syndication market.” But he added he wasn’t the person to make those decisions. Analysts have speculated where ABC would slot a syndicated Millionaire, since the network has committed to Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy for the next several seasons.
