The Fifth Annual Urbanworld Film Festival, announcing the winners of its film and screenplay competition Monday, said that the top Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature Film was awarded to DeMane Davis and Khari Streeter for their movie Lift. The film was described as “a drama portraying the affects (sic) of professional shoplifting on a dysfunctional family.” The festival was held in New York last week.
