January 2022 Movies 

The 355

Get ready for an action-packed adventure. The 355 is centered around CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown (Jessica Chastain) and her espionage dream team consisting of rival German agent Marie (Diane Kruger), Colombian psychologist Graciela (Penélope Cruz), and cutting-edge computer specialist and former M16 ally Khadijah (Lupita Nyong’o). Scream

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette come back to the quiet town of Woodsboro 25 years later. Following an uptick of brutal murders in the town, a new Ghostface emerges and they must return to uncover the truth.

Marry Me

Musical superstar Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) is about to be married in front of a global audience of fans to her partner Bastian (Maluma). Uncharted

Based on the acclaimed video game series by the same name, Uncharted serves as a prequel to the games which shows us a younger Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and sheds light on how he came to meet and befriend fellow treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).

DOG

This comedy focuses on Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) and his dog Lulu on their race down the Pacific Coast to make it to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time. Along their journey, chaos ensues as the pair break numerous laws, narrowly escape death, and let each other in as they pursue a shot at true happiness.

Cyrano

In this recreation of “Cyrano de Bergerac,” award-winning director Joe Wright showcases a heartbreaking love triangle. Cyrano (Peter Dinklage) fawns over his devoted friend Roxanne (Haley Bennett), who has recently fallen in love, at first sight, with another man (Kevin Harrison, Jr.). Although a master of fantastical duels and ferocious wordplay, Cyrano remains convinced that his appearance makes him unfit for love and leaves him yet to proclaim his love for Roxanne.

March 2022 Movies 

The Batman

In this upcoming reboot of the iconic character, Batman (Robert Pattinson) looks to uncover corruption that plagues Gotham City and faces a twisted serial killer known as The Riddler (Paul Dano) all while sorting out how these events are connected to his own family.

The Batman premiered in theaters on Mar. 4.

The Lost City

Reclusive romance novelist Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) embarks on a book tour with her cover model Alan (Channing Tatum) to promote her new adventure novel. While on tour, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes that she can be the key to guide him to a lost city’s ancient treasure from her latest story. To prove himself as more than a vapid model, Alan sets off to rescue Loretta and prove himself a true hero.

The Lost City premiered in theaters on Mar. 25.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

By exploring different universes other than her own, an aging Chinese immigrant (Michelle Yeoh) is whisked away on a mind-bending adventure that has her connecting with the lives that she could have led.

April 2022 Movies

Morbius

Biochemist Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) is diagnosed with a rare blood disease that spurs him to take matters into his own hands. His quest for a cure inadvertently leads him to become infected with a form of vampirism instead.

Morbius premiered in theaters on Apr. 1.

Ambulance

A decorated U.S. veteran’s wife’s medical bills begin to pile up. So, he teams up with his adoptive brother to steal $32 million from a Los Angeles bank. Of course, the heist goes awry. The duo hijacks an ambulance and begins a high-speed chase with two hostages in tow.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Having settled into Green Hills, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) is still eager to prove that he has the makings of a true hero. When Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carey) returns with a new partner, Knuckles (Idris Elba), to search for the mystical emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations, Sonic must prove he can be a hero. With his own partner, Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey), Sonic embarks on a journey to retrieve the emerald and stop Dr. Robotnik once again.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

In an effort to stop the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindewald (now played by Mads Mikkelsen) from seizing control of the wizarding world, Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to build a team of wizards and witches to stop Grindelwald.

The Northman

From acclaimed director Robert Eggers and Icelandic poet and novelist Sjón Sigurdsson comes an epic revenge thriller set in Iceland at the turn of the 10th century. The film shows how far a Nordic prince will go in his quest to avenge his father’s death.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

Nicolas Cage stars in this film about a fictionalized version of himself in which he is facing financial ruin and left feeling unfulfilled creatively. After he is offered $1 million to attend a — unbeknownst to him — dangerous superfan’s (Pedro Pascal) birthday party, he is then recruited by a CIA operative for an unusual mission. In an effort to stop his criminal superfan, he finds himself channeling his most iconic and beloved characters to save everyone.

The Bad Guys

This upcoming animated feature follows Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), and Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson) as they work together to pull off the ultimate heist.

May 2022 Movies 

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is back. After continuing his research on the time stone, Dr. Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens the door to the multiverse, including an alternate version of himself, whose threat to humanity is too great for the combined forces of Strange, Wong (Benedict Wong), and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen).

Downton Abbey: A New Era

This historical drama serves as the sequel to 2019’s Downton Abbey. The film is set to be directed by Simon Curtis and was written by Julian Fellowes, who is the series creator and writer of the television series of the same name.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie

After a water main is ruptured, an enormous sinkhole is created right in front of Bob’s Burgers. With the entrance indefinitely blocked, Bob Belcher (H. John Benjamin) and his wife Linda (John Roberts) struggle to keep the business afloat all the while their three children Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Louise (Kristen Schaal) try to solve a mystery that could save the family’s restaurant.

Top Gun: Maverick

After thirty dedicated years of service, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) continues to push the envelope as a courageous test pilot for the U.S. Navy. A new squad needs training for a dangerous mission. The Maverick must face his past and be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to succeed.

Minions: The Rise of Gru

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

As a sequel to Marvel’s Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Dominique Thorne.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in theaters on Nov. 11.

She Said

Based on the 2019 book of the same name by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, this drama film follows the two New York Times reporters who exposed Harvey Weinstein’s history of sexual misconduct and abuse against women.

She Said is in theaters on Nov. 18.

Strange World

This film is an upcoming Walt Disney Animated Studios production in which a legendary family of explorers, the Clades, journey deep into uncharted and treacherous lands where fantastical creatures await on this recent and most crucial mission — so long as they can keep their differences in check and work as a team.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody is in theaters on Dec. 21.

Babylon

This is a period drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle that is set to star Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Tobey Maguire will serve as an executive producer and appear in a supporting role.
