Hollywood (and Miley Cyrus) celebrated Mother’s Day in style

Miley Cyrus kicked off Mother’s Day 2021 with a feel-good tribute on Saturday Night Live

Miley Cyrus was SNL’s musical guest last weekend and opened the show with a cover of her godmother Dolly Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.” The performance showcased her beautiful voice and honored mothers everywhere.

Throughout the performance, stars of the SNL cast stood beside their mothers, telling jokes together in front of the camera. As Miley Cyrus was wrapping up the song, her mom Tish Cyrus joined her, smiling on stage with the rest of the cast.

Miley Cyrus also took to Instagram to share the performance and wish her mom a ‘Happy Mother’s Day,’ calling her the “ultimate woman.”

Chrissy Teigen wowed us all with her cooking

It should come as no surprise that Chrissy Teigen is a great cook. On this Mother’s Day, she shared videos to her Instagram story of a mouth-watering focaccia she made herself, as well as her husband John Legend cooking up the rest of dinner. 

Chrissy Teigen also shared the recipe for a Heath Bar Cake, followed by videos of her hanging out with her kiddos.

On Chrissy Teigen’s food account, Cravings, she shared photos of her and her mom cooking in the kitchen, both old and recent. Chrissy shares many of her mom’s recipes both on social media and in her cookbooks.

Katy Perry’s first Mother’s Day as a mom 

While this was Katy Perry’s first Mother’s Day as a mom to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, she did not take a break from her role as a judge on American Idol. Katy posted photos of herself on Instagram, encouraging fans to vote and acknowledging her role as “1 hawt momma.”

Audiences first fell in love with Reese Witherspoon when she played Elle Woods in the iconic film Legally Blonde. Recently, Reese has won the hearts of an entirely new generation with her role as a mom both in HBO’s Big Little Lies and Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, as well as with her presence on TikTok
