What is Bachelor in Paradise?
Bachelor in Paradise is a U.S. reality dating competition and a spin‑off of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It debuted on August 4, 2014, and features past contestants from those shows who get another chance at romantic connections in an isolated, tropical setting.
How it Works:
Contestants—men and women—live together in a secluded paradise. Each week features rose ceremonies: some contestants hand roses and others leave the beach. New participants alternate entering the villa. The number of men and women shifts over time, and relationships form—and sometimes break—leading up to a finale with engagement or a committed relationship.
