Drop everything—Kendrick just released new music. Following what was arguably one of the biggest years of his career, Kendrick Lamar has unexpectedly dropped a surprise album titled GNX. It’s available now, in its entirety.
Kendrick gave fans a glimpse of GNX with a brief teaser video that dropped just ahead of the album’s release. The project features 12 tracks, all brand new, with no prior releases. Listen to the new album below.
Kendrick Lamar’s GNX: The Early Holiday Gift We All Needed
The album kicks off with “Wacced Out Murals,” featuring the Spanish vocals of mariachi singer Deyra Barrera, as Kendrick Lamar delivers sharp, biting lyrics aimed at his critics. Barrera also returns to provide vocals on “Reincarnated” and the album’s closing track, “Gloria.”
The album also features tracks like “Dodger Blue,” “Peekaboo,” and “TV Off.” A standout is “Heart Pt. 6,” the newest addition to Kendrick Lamar’s famous “The Heart” series, which began in 2010. The album credits producer Jack Antonoff, with notable guest features from SZA and Sam Dew.
