DWTS Week 3: Every Dance From Yacht Rock Night

DWTS Week 3 brought a new theme to the ballroom as the remaining couples took on Yacht Rock Night. With 13 couples still competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, the celebrities had another chance to impress the judges and viewers before one more pair was sent home.

After last week’s elimination, the competition continued to heat up as the stars performed songs from artists including Toto, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac and Luther Vandross.

Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov

Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov opened the night with a foxtrot set to Toto’s “Hold the Line.” The pair delivered a polished routine as Glenn continued to show her progress in the ballroom.

Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa

Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa brought some salsa energy to Yacht Rock Night with a routine set to Daryl Hall & John Oates’ “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do).” The actress tackled the faster choreography as the competition continued to become more demanding.

Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson

Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson took on the iconic “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” by Rupert Holmes with a foxtrot. The late-night personality leaned into the playful side of the performance while continuing his DWTS journey.

Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik

Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik performed a quickstep to Daryl Hall & John Oates’ “Maneater.” The pair brought plenty of movement to the ballroom as Ali continued to compete for a spot in the next round.

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson returned to the ballroom with a jive set to “You Make My Dreams” by Daryl Hall & John Oates. The actor and dancer continued to showcase his performance experience with another energetic routine.

Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart

Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart danced a foxtrot to The Doobie Brothers’ “What a Fool Believes.” Hanson continued to take on the challenge of learning ballroom choreography as the competition moved into its third week.

Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas

Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas performed a quickstep to George Benson’s “Turn Your Love Around.” The reality star brought her energy to the ballroom alongside Ballas as the pair fought to remain in the competition.

Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong

Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong performed a cha cha to Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much.” The routine gave Miller another opportunity to build on her previous performances as the judges continued to evaluate the remaining couples.

Jackson Olson and Emma Slater

Savannah Bananas midfielder Jackson Olson and Emma Slater took on the paso doble with Philip Bailey and Phil Collins’ “Easy Lover.” The pair brought a dramatic change of pace to Yacht Rock Night.

Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold

Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold performed a foxtrot to Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere.” The comedian continued his run on the show with another performance alongside Arnold.

Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy tackled a samba to Toto’s “Africa.” The pair brought the iconic song into the ballroom as Dewan continued competing for a chance to advance further into the season.

Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess

Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess performed a jive to Orleans’ “Still the One.” Cameron returned to the dance floor hoping to improve his standing and earn enough points to remain in the competition.

Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach

Paralympic athlete Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach performed a foxtrot to “Just the Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. featuring Bill Withers. The pair delivered another performance as Frech continued his impressive run in the competition.

DWTS Week 3 Scores

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, along with Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, finished at the top of the leaderboard with 24 points each.

Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas followed with 22 points, while Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik, Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach each earned 21.

At the other end of the leaderboard, Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson received 15 points, while Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess earned 17.

Who Goes Home on DWTS Week 3?

The third elimination of Season 35 sent Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart home. After performing their foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes,” the pair’s journey on the show came to an end.

The competition is now down to 12 couples, with the remaining stars one step closer to the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Next week, the remaining couples will celebrate the music of Mariah Carey. The stars will take on some of the pop superstar’s biggest hits as they continue competing for a place in the next round.
