Oscar: Calling for Foreign and Short Films

The Oscar entry dealine for foreign language and short films was announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today.

All entry forms for the Foreign Language Film and animated and live-action short film categories must be returned to the Academy by next Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Screenings of the submitted films will begin in December. Academy Award nominations will be announced on Feb. 13, 2001.

This year’s Oscar ceremony will take place on March 25, 2001, at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
