Quote of the Day: Melissa Etheridge on her first tattoo

Melissa Etheridge, whose single “I Want to Be in Love” (off of her now-ironically titled album Skin) has been nominated for a Grammy award, on why she wanted a tattoo, to CNN:

“I decided I was turning 40, I had been through this incredible life change. I was a rock and roll artist and darn it, I didn’t have a tattoo.”
