2025 Oscars Performers: Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doja Cat & More

As the excitement builds for the 2025 Oscars in Los Angeles, the anticipation grows with each new announcement of the musical performers set to take the stage.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, both nominated for their roles in Wicked, will take the stage during the ceremony. Although the specific songs Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will perform remain under wraps, potential options include numbers like “Defying Gravity,” or “What Is This Feeling?”

This announcement comes shortly after Cynthia Erivo’s multiple interviews in which she denied being part of the performance. Good thing she was able to keep her poker face.

Doja Cat, LISA, and Raye are set to perform at the Oscars, replacing the traditional Best Original Song nominees’ performances. Additionally, the Los Angeles Master Chorale will make a special appearance, adding even more grandeur to the 97th academy award celebrations.

2025 Oscars: What Else To Expect

Conan O’Brien will host the 2025 Oscars, marking his first time in the role. He joked to ABC News that he’s embracing new challenges because he’s “in his era of saying yes.”

Nick Offerman of Parks and Recreation will serve as the show announcer for the 2025 Oscars, with Oprah Winfrey and Selena Gomez joining as presenters

At this years Academy Awards, the traditional live performances of Best Original Song nominees will be notably absent. In their place, the spotlight will shine on the songwriters, with intimate reflections from the creative teams behind each track. As always, competition is expected to be tight, with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and nominees expected to attend.

The 2025 Oscars will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 2.
