A ‘Will & Grace’ 10-Episode Revival Is Officially Happening!

If you adore Will & Grace like we do, then you probably saw the web-based short that encouraged U.S. citizen to take part in the Presidential election a few weeks back. But apparently, that’s not all the mini-revival sparked. TV Line is reporting that NBC is currently in talks with the series creators, David Kohan and Max Mutchnick and stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes with a full-fledged 10-episode revival.

Though Will & Grace wrapped pretty epically in its series finale back in 2006, it looks like the iconic series will follow in the footsteps of Gilmore Girls in relaunch itself after a decade-long hiatus. We don’t know yer when the series would air or any other juicy deets, but it only took Netflix and Warner Bros. about a year between talks and premiering Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life so we’d imagine it would be before 2018.

When the 10-minute short aired last month, Debra Messing told PEOPLE, “The response has been very overwhelming and really, really heartwarming.” While Eric McCormack, said, “We’d all be interested to get that call, I think.”
