J.Lo lands TV deal

Fresh off the success on the big screen (The Wedding Planner, Angel Eyes) and in music (the chart-topping J.Lo album), Jennifer Lopez is about to hit the small screen after a 10-year absence, according to The Associated Press. NBC has signed Lopez to two deals. Lopez will appear in a series of music specials, starting this fall. NBC also will develop a semi-autobiographical sitcom based on the actress’ upbringing in the Bronx. Lopez originally appeared on television’s In Living Color as one of the show’s Fly Girl dancers.
