It’s obvious that Joe Manganiello is a hunk, but who knew he was funny, too?
The True Blood hottie stopped by The Ellen Show while promoting the upcoming sixth season of the hit series. After Ellen questioned Manganiello about his way too sexy bod, Manganiello spoke about his experience at drama school. The HBO star revealed the rigorous training he received, which included a seven-week movement class where each student was assigned to act as an animal. Yes, you read that right: an animal. And for some odd reason, Manganiello was designated to become a beloved penguin.
He even added that Matt Bomer, who was in the same class at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama, gnawed at penguin Manganiello. Don’t worry, Bomer doesn’t have mental issues… he was just acting as a meerkat.
Ellen pushed Manganiello to show off his skills as a penguin impersonator — and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Can’t get enough of Joe Manganiello? No need to fret! True Blood premieres its sixth season on Sunday, June 16th, at 9pm on HBO.
