Some were saddened last night to see The Colbert Report lose the Outstanding Variety Series Emmy once again to its mother program, The Daily Show (although probably not too saddened…most people who love one love them both). For those who are still rigidly in the Colbert camp, we’ve got a nice condolence prize for you: a special hour-long episode of The Colbert Report.
A week from today, The Colbert Report will broadcast its first hour-long episode ever. The show will begin at its normal time. If the glory of a sixty-minute Colbert session is not enough awesome for you, the featured musical guest is none other than Radiohead, performing multiple songs off their new album King of Limbs.
In addition to performing, Colbert will interview Radiohead and we can probably expect that he’ll love the band’s age old anti-“big business” messages.
Catch the hour-long episode of The Colbert Report with Radiohead on Monday, Sept. 26, at11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
