You’ve heard the catchiest part of the tune over and over again in Glee’s ubiquitous dodgeball ads, but now you can hear and see the whole production. It seems that the glee club is trying round two of their “Empire State of Mind” showing on last year’s season premiere for tomorrow night’s Season 3 premiere, ambushing the student body with another tightly correographed musical number. Though, I think it’s worth noting that I’d be pretty inclinded to continue hating on a club who jumped up on the table where my mystery-meat cafeteria lunch was safely resting away from sneakers and other things that frequently touch the ground so they could dazzle us one of the most oft-played songs in history. Just saying.
Still, this clip from the premiere, which hits small screens on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, is pretty cute.
