CNN executives gave CBS News officials a tour of CNN headquarters in Atlanta Wednesday as they continued to discuss ways to form a partnership, the New York Times reported today. The CBS News execs included Marcy McGinnis, the CBS vice president for news coverage, and Bill Felling, the CBS News national editor, the Times said, noting that executives at both CNN and CBS “took pains” to emphasize that the visit did not indicate that a deal between them is imminent.
