Julie Harris is in a Chicago-area hospital in serious but stable condition, Reuters reported Wednesday. No details were released, except that the Tony-winning stage actress’ illness is not considered life threatening. Harris, 75, failed to show up for a weekend performance of Fossils at Chicago’s Victory Gardens Theater and was found semiconscious in her apartment she was staying at by theater staff, The Chicago Tribune reported.
