“Kristen” attracts an audience

NBC’s new summer sitcom Kristen rode Frasier‘s coattails Tuesday night to a second-place finish in its 8:30 p.m. ET time slot, according to Variety. The new comedy, starring Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth as an up-and-coming actress in Manhattan, captured the majority of Frasier‘s nine million viewers, beating out Fox’s Titus and finishing second only to ABC’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Kristen will move to 9:30 p.m. ET on Tues. nights starting June 19.
