Amid numerous reports of the death of TV movies-of-the-week and miniseries, the first part of the CBS miniseries Like Mother, Like Son, starring Mary Tyler Moore, averaged an impressive 11.1 rating and a 16 share Sunday night beginning at 9 p.m., while the first part of the ABC miniseries Anne Frank drew a 9.7/15 in the same period. CBS won the night (the last Sunday of the season) with a 10.5/16 average, while ABC followed with an 8.7/13, Fox with an 8.6/13 and NBC with an 8.3/13.
