Paul McCartney is ready to take the stage again for the first time in eight years. McCartney said he’s “very excited to go out on the road with a new album and I’m very excited by this one,” Reuters reports. He is currently recording his new studio album in the United States, having recorded 18 tracks in just two weeks. “Recording new songs makes you enthuse and want to get out and play them,” he said. His new album will be released in September. Wingspan, a compilation of hits by McCartney‘s post-Beatles band Wings, was released last week.
