The original bad-boy of tennis, John McEnroe, has signed with book publisher Putnam to pen his private memoirs, according to the Associated Press. McEnroe, a tennis legend who won 9 grand slam titles, including 4 U.S. Opens, will reportedly receive seven figures for his first foray as an author, though no set financial terms were disclosed. McEnroe will write about sport and love, including his six-year marriage to actress Tatum O’Neal, said the publishing house.
