Miss Colombia upset over Letterman drug joke

Andrea Noceti, who competed last week in the Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico, threatened to sue David Letterman on Tuesday for joking Friday during his talk show that swallowing bags of heroin ranked among Noceti’s top talents, Reuters reports. Infuriated Colombians also were urged to protest outside Letterman‘s studio Colombian Ambassador Luis Alberto Moreno. Letterman has since apologized for the joke and has invited Noceti to the show. Noceti said that she would accept the invitation to attend the show. “I would go,” she said. “I think it’s a very important opportunity to show the world who we Colombians are,” she said.
