It’s every film buff’s wet dream. And alas, it’s going to come true. Daily Variety says today that moviemaking gods Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese will collaborate on “Into the Setting Sun,” a story that follows the birth of the transcontinental railroad.
Spielberg is set to produce the flick while Scorsese will direct. No script has been written yet, but “The Perfect Storm” scribe Bill Wittliff has been appointed to write the project.
LITTLE ’CAESAR’: Oliver Stone might direct the thriller “American Caesar,” a modern update of the Caesar and Brutus story set in Washington, D.C., The Hollywood Reporter says.
